Offered in cooperation with the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology (ASNC, the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography (SCCT), and the California Chapter of the American College of Cardiology (ACC)
This CME activity allows attendees to fine-tune their interpretive skills in nuclear cardiology and enhance their knowledge of cardiac CT in a unique and comprehensive three-day symposium. This annual program is well known for its practical approach to all aspects of gated SPECT and more recently for its in-depth focus on cardiac CT and its relationship to nuclear cardiology. A unique feature of the program is a series of workshops allowing participants to review cases with leading national and international experts. Each workshop focuses on a specific technical or clinical problem with time allotted for questions and answers, and attendees actively participate in the case interpretations. Specific emphasis will be placed on gated SPECT and PET and pharmacologic stress; semi-quantitative and quantitative image interpretation; recognition of and working with artifacts; and risk stratification and patient management.
