

Dennis M. Weintraub, DDS is Co-Clinical Chief of Dentistry and Co-Director of Craniofacial Surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. He is also Co-Director of Cedars-Sinai's Residency Training Program in Dentistry. Dr. Weintraub is a faculty member in the Department of Hospital Dentistry at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
Dr. Weintraub has specialized training in the use of pre-surgical orthopedic positioning appliances prior to surgical closure of the lip and palate. He is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Association of Orthodontics. Dr. Weintraub is a fellow of the American College of Dentists, and he is one of the few specialists nationally that is board certified in both pediatric dentistry, orthodontics and dental anesthesiology.
Dr. Weintraub has presented at numerous dental schools, including the Goldshieger School of Dental Medicine in Tel Aviv, Israel. His studies have been published in such peer-reviewed publications as the Journal of Dentistry for Children, Pediatric Dentistry and Anesthesiology.
Dr. Weintraub attended UCLA and University of Southern California (USC) School of Pharmacy prior to graduating from Loyola University School of Dentistry in Chicago. He completed residencies in pediatric dentistry and orthodontics at the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston. He obtained his certificate in dental anesthesiology from Mount Sinai Hospital School of Medicine in New York City.
