Jeffrey S. Goodman, MD, FACC

Cardiologist, Division of Cardiology

Jeffrey S. Goodman, MD, FACC is an attending cardiologist with the Division of Cardiology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Goodman is also an Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Dr. Goodman is a board certified Cardiologist and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiologist whose primary clinical and research interests involve the diagnosis and treatment of various cardiac arrhythmias including atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, supraventricular arrhythmias, and ventricular arrhythmias. Dr. Goodman is a specialist in cardiac ablation procedures, pacemaker and defibrillator implantation as well as implantation of biventricular devices. He also has interests in cardiac rehabilitation, cardiac death prevention and congestive heart failure.

Dr. Goodman is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Medical Association, American Board of Internal Medicine, the American College of Physicians and is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology.

As a recipient of the Heart Saver Award, awarded by the Save-A-Heart Foundation, Dr. Goodman has written articles for such peer-reviewed publications as the American Journal of Cardiology and PACE.

Dr. Goodman received his bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland Honor's Program, and his medical degree from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.. He completed his internal medicine internship, internal medicine residency, cardiology fellowship and electrophysiology fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
