
To further the education of our physicians and professional community, the Department of Neurosurgery hosts a series of annual symposiums, ongoing Grand Rounds, weekly conferences and national speaking engagements.
Neurovascular disease is the number one cause of adult disability. More than four million Americans have survived a stroke, and most will never recover completely. This conference reviewed the latest diagnoses, newly approved therapies to lessen symptoms and emerging surgical treatment options for degenerative neurological disorders. The Department of Neurosurgery faculty members actively participate in numerous nueurosurgery-focused conferences, professional society engagements and peer-based educational summits.
