The GI Motility Program at Cedars-Sinai is one of the nation's most innovative and comprehensive centers for motility disorders. The program provides comprehensive diagnosis, treatments and research. One of its unique aspects is the ability to provide consultations for motility problems involving all aspects of the gastrointestinal tract. The program is patient focused in its care. A variety of GI motility specialists looks at each patient's medical needs and delivers highly individualized diagnostic and treatment services. Pancreaticobiliary and Interventional Endoscopy Services diagnoses and treats diseases of the pancreas. These conditions include acute pancreatitis, chronic pancreatitis, pancreatic cancer, jaundice and gallstones.
Its Interventional Endoscopy component offers the most advanced endoscopic procedures for a variety of gastrointestinal problems. These minimally invasive techniques can be used to diagnose pancreatic cancer and determine its progress with less impact on the patient.
