The Cedars-Sinai Medical Network is committed to helping primary care and specialist physicians provide excellent care to all their patients.
The Cedars-Sinai Medical Network consists of:
- Cedars-Sinai Medical Group (CSMG), is a multispecialty group of approximately 100 primary care and specialty physicians serving you at seven sites throughout Los Angeles. CSMG was created in 1985 to offer a full range of quality healthcare and disease prevention services for the entire family.
- Cedars-Sinai Health Associates (CSHA), is an independent physician association (IPA) affiliated with Cedars-Sinai Medical Center with offices throughout Los Angeles. These physicians came together in 1994 to form an IPA to serve your managed care medical needs. By working with the IPA, the doctors are able to enter into contracts with managed care insurers and coordinate your healthcare. Today, Cedars-Sinai Health Associates has more than 90 primary care physicians and 700 specialists within its network.
Both CSMG and CSHA have been consistently rated by the Integrated Healthcare Association as top performing medical groups in California, ranked among the top 20 percent in the state on quality, patient satisfaction and enhanced use of information technology.
