Drug Therapies for Treating Pituitary Disorders
Drug therapy is an important part of treatment for many pituitary disorders.
Patients who have surgery or radiation for pituitary disorders need to be monitored to make sure that the main disorder is controlled as well as seeing that their endocrine function is not declining slowly. Initially, this evaluation should be done three months, then six months and then a year after surgery and annually thereafter.
