Scott P. Serden, MD

Co-Director, Center of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery

Scott P. Serden, MD is Co-Director of the Center of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. He is also Associate Clinical Professor at the David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles. His primary clinical interests include treating abnormal uterine bleeding including endometrial ablation and other aspects of both hysteroscopic and laparoscopic surgery.

Throughout his career, Dr. Serden's studies have been published in numerous peer-reviewed articles including, Contemporary Ob/GYN, American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Journal of Reproductive Medicine and Journal of Endoscopic Surgery.. He has also authored or co-authored multiple book chapters pertaining to his work as stated above.

Dr. Serden is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and is a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists and the American Medical Association. He has served as teaching faculty at many post-graduate courses and training programs over the last 20 years.

Dr. Serden received his bachelor's degree from St. Lawrence University and his medical degree from the New York Medical College. He completed his obstetrics and gynecology internship and residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
