As an interim step in its ongoing review of thiazolidinedione cardiac safety, the FDA has called for revised class labeling for the TZDs featuring strengthened warnings about the incidence of heart failure and contraindications for patients with existing heart failure.

Event Draws 200 Participants

Cedars-Sinai was the site of the first all-Los Angeles Emergency Medicine Conference yesterday as more than 200 attending physicians and residents from several area medical centers convened in Harvey Morse Auditorium.

Did you know that you can view Web/VS outside of the medical center via a CSHS Digital Certificate? A CSHS Digital Certificate allows you, as a member in good standing of the CSMC attending staff with a valid, active Web/VS account, to obtain remote access to the CSMC Web/VS system from your home or office using an external Internet account (ISP account).

All medical staff members are invited to attend Cedars-Sinai's annual Medical Student Reception on Tuesday, Sept. 18, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in Harvey Morse Auditorium.
