New Law Only Affects Medications Prescribed to Medi-Cal Patients

Effective April 1, 2008, a new federal regulation requires that tamper-resistant prescription pads be used for all covered outpatient drugs prescribed to Medi-Cal patients (i.e. discharge and outpatient prescriptions).

Cedars-Sinai Kicks Off Stethoscope Cleaning Campaign to Raise Physician Awareness

Cedars-Sinai launched its Stethoscope Cleaning Campaign with a special physician event on Wednesday morning on the Mezzanine level of the South Tower. Physicians were invited to stop by for a free cup of coffee and learn more about helping raise awareness about the importance of regular stethoscope cleaning.
