Is there a special nurse you would like to acknowledge with an award? If so, online nominations for the 2008 Maggie Stempson-Carter Excellence in Caring Award for eligible nurses are being accepted now through April 18. Only medical staff members may submit a nomination.

Prezista (darunavir) and Hepatotoxicity

The FDA and Tibotec Therapeutics have notified healthcare professionals of changes to the WARNINGS section of the prescribing information for Prezista (darunavir) tablets regarding the risk of hepatotoxicity. In clinical trials and postmarketing experience, drug induced hepatitis has been reported in patients receiving combination therapy with Prezista/ritonavir.
