Research and Clinical Trials

The Cedars-Sinai Epilepsy Program conducts research into the diagnosis and treatment of all types of seizures, as well as offering clinical trials, which represent the latest promising treatments for epilepsy and other seizure disorders.

Current areas of focus include:

• Anti-epileptic drug trials
• Vagus nerve stimulation for seizures and autism
• Brain activity during learning
• Monitoring seizures in the Neuro Critical Care Unit
