Katharine Chiu is a board-certified internist and gerontologist who practices with Cedars-Sinai Medical Group.
Dr. Chiu received her bachelor's of arts degree in Biology from the Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, where she graduated summa cum laude. She earned her medical degree from the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University in Chicago. Dr. Chiu completed her internal medicine internship and residency training at the University of California, San Diego where she also completed a fellowship in geriatric medicine.
Dr. Chiu has had experience in research and has published articles in peer-reviewed medical journals. She is a member of the American Medical Association, Phi Beta Kappa, the American College of Physicians, and the American Geriatrics Society. Dr. Chiu is also fluent in Mandarin.
