
Howard L. Rosner, MD is Medical Director of The Pain Center at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and a member of the Cedars-Sinai Spine Center. Dr. Rosner previously served at The New York Hospital's Pain Management Services and at New York University Medical Center's Pain Management Center.
A board-certified anesthesiologist, Dr. Rosner holds special certification in pain management. His clinical and research interests involve innovative drug therapies for the management of pain in the lower back, following surgical cases of abdominal aortic aneurysms and in patients with AIDS.
Dr. Rosner has written chapters on pain management for the book, Anesthesiology: Problem-Oriented Patient Management, and he has written numerous articles for such peer-reviewed publications as the Clinical Journal of Pain and the Journal of Abnormal Psychology. He is a member of several professional societies, including the International Spinal Intervention Society and the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians.
Dr. Rosner received his bachelor's degree from the University of Miami and his medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine. After an internship at Salem Hospital in Massachusetts, he completed an anesthesiology residency at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston and a fellowship in anesthesiology/pain management at Presbyterian Hospital in New York City.
