
Mark Surrey, MD is a reproductive surgeon and member of the Center for Fertility and Reproductive Medicine (CFRM). He serves as Associate Director for Advanced Technologies of CFRM at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Surrey is also clinical professor at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
Dr. Surrey's main clinical and research interests are infertility, in vitro fertilization and tubal and endoscopic surgery. Dr. Surrey has written numerous articles for peer-reviewed publications, including Fertility and Sterility and the Journal of Assisted Reproduction and Genetics.
Dr. Surrey earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Pittsburgh and his medical degree from George Washington University. He completed an internship and residency at the UCLA Medical Center and his reproductive endocrinology and infertility fellowship at the University of London, Hammersmith Hospital. He was trained in preimplantation genetic diagnosis at the University of London and at Monash University in Melburn, Australia.
He is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in obstetrics and gynecology. He serves as the immediate past president of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL) and is president of the Pacific Coast Reproductive Society.
