Persian Jewish Community Genetic Screening
The inherited disorders found in the Persian Jewish population differ from the disorders common in the Ashkenazi Jewish population. Due to recent advances in human genetics, it is now possible for these disorders to be diagnosed, treated, prevented or avoided.
