

Chander P. Arora, PhD, is a research scientist for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Director of the Perinatal Research Laboratory at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Arora is a member of several professional organizations, including the California Science Center, American Chemical Society, New York Academy of Sciences and the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
Dr. Arora has written extensively on the subjects of atrial natriuretic peptide metabolism during pregnancy, the maternal plasma corticotropin release of hormones associated with stress during pregnancy and the pressor response to endothelin-1 in pregnancy. Her articles have appeared in such peer-reviewed publications as the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, American Journal of Cardiology and Annals of the New York Academy of Science. She also serves as a peer reviewer for the Journal of Environmental Sciences & Health.
Dr. Arora received her bachelor's degree from Delhi University in India and her master's and doctorate degrees from the College of Basic Sciences in Hisar, India. She completed a fellowship in biology at Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada.
