David Kawashiri, MD, is a board-certified internist with the Cedars-Sinai Medical Group and Cedars-Sinai Health Associates.
Dr. Kawashiri received his medical degree from the Georgetown University School of Medicine, Washington, D.C. His bachelor's degree is from the University of California, Los Angeles. At UCLA, he received the Chancellor's Award and was on the Dean's List. He completed his internship at the Georgetown University Medical Center and his residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. He is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society.
Dr. Kawashiri joined Cedars-Sinai Medical Group in 1994 and has earned the group's physician of the year award. He has served as an instructor to third- and fourth-year medical students at the UCLA School of Medicine and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and a clinical instructor of the residency program at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
