In the 2008 U.S. News and World Report Best Hospitals issue, Cedars-Sinai once again ranked among America's best in Heart and Heart Surgery.

Cedars-Sinai Women's Heart Center

More American women die of heart disease than any other illness, and one out of two women will develop heart and vascular disease during their lifetimes. Two out of every three women have at least one of the risk factors for heart disease:

  • Age over 55 years
  • Family history of premature heart disease
  • Cigarette smoking
  • High blood pressure
  • High cholesterol
  • Obesity
  • Diabetes

Cedars-Sinai Women's Heart Center provides risk assessment, diagnosis and heart disease care at the hospital ranked 14th in the nation for Heart and Heart Surgery by U.S. News and World Report. The center is designed to help women reduce their chances of heart disease through a preventive approach, including state-of-the-art screening and diagnostic testing.

Located in the outpatient
Noninvasive Cardiac Laboratory, the Cedars-Sinai Women's Heart Center provides convenient access to all of Cedars-Sinai's heart disease diagnostic and treatment resources.
