When the patient is referred back to his or her primary care physician for continued management, the center's specialists remain available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to provide post-treatment support.

To complement this expertise, team members include a dedicated stroke nurse, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech and language pathologists, social workers and dietitians.

Patients at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center receive care from nurses who are nationally recognized for their excellence. Cedars-Sinai is a recipient of the national magnet Hospital Recognition Award for nursing excellence by the American Nurses Credentialling Center. The Magnet Accreditation recognizes Cedars-Sinai as one of the top nursing services in the United States, with the most qualified nursing personnel.
