Franklin G. Moser, MD, FACR is Director of Clinical Neuroradiology and Interventional Neuroradiology at the S. Mark Taper Foundation Imaging Center at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Moser also directs the interventional neuroradiology component of the Department of Neurosurgery. As the Vice-Chairman of Imaging for Radiology Research he is heading an effort to create a Radiology research program at Cedars-Sinai.
Dr. Moser's research interests focus on advanced techniques in imaging to track changes in the brain in several different conditions including dementia and memory loss, brain tumors and cerebral vascular disease. He has authored and co-authored over 40 peer-reviewed articles, abstracts and book chapters on his work in neuroradiology and interventional
neuroradiology.
Board certified by the American Board of Radiology, Dr. Moser is a senior member of the American Society of Neuroradiology. He also holds a Certificate of Advanced Qualification in Neuroradiology.
A graduate of Yale University and McGill University's College of Medicine, Dr. Moser completed an internship in surgery and medicine at Sir Mortimer Davis Hospital, Montreal. He also completed a residency in radiology at Mount Sinai Medical Center, New York and a fellowship in neuroradiology at Columbia University. Dr. Moser also has a Master's in Health Management from the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business.
