Since 1994, COACH for KidsŪ has delivered expert clinical care and social services to underprivileged children in Los Angeles County at no charge to their families.
The program co-founded and leads the Los Angeles Coalition of Mobile Medical Units (LACMMU) and is part of the Children's Health Fund, a national network of pediatric mobile clinic providers and the International Mobile Health Association.

Because transportation to the doctor's office is often a near impossibility for families barely able to make ends meet, Cedars-Sinai physicians and professionals travel in rolling medical units to sections of the city where children are at increased risk for health problems. In addition to highly impacted areas in Los Angeles, mobile medical clinics go to various public elementary and middle schools, housing developments, homeless shelters, churches and facilities that aid and protect women and children.
COACH for KidsŪ staff members are bi-lingual and, therefore, uniquely able to communicate with Spanish-speaking clients.
