Ronald B. Natale, MD

Medical Oncologist

Ronald Natale, MD is an attending physician at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center with offices in the Outpatient Cancer Center at the Samuel Oschin Comprehensive Cancer Institute. In addition, he is Director of the National Lung Cancer Research Program and Senior Research Advisor for the Solid Tumor Program for Aptium Oncology. Dr. Natale's expertise is in lung, bladder and prostate cancers. He is nationally renown for his efforts to develop and test new treatments and develop promising clinical trials.

Dr. Natale has held various faculty positions at the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California (USC) and at the University of Michigan. He is board certified in medical oncology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Natale speaks Italian and some Spanish.

Dr. Natale has been cited as one of the top lung cancer specialists in
America's Top Doctors For Cancer, as one of the best cancer doctors in Los Angeles by Los Angeles magazine, as one of the top cancer doctors for women by Good Housekeeping, and in each edition of the Best Doctors in America. He has published over 200 articles and abstracts, authored several books and presented the results of his research at cancer research meetings all over the world.

Dr. Natale completed a fellowship in hematology/oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York and a research fellowship at the National Cancer Institute - Navy Medical Oncology Branch in Bethesda, Maryland. Dr. Natale completed his residency and received his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit.
