Michael Engelberg, MD

Medical Oncologist. Outpatient Cancer Center; Member, Saul and Joyce Brandman Breast Center

Michael Engelberg, MD is an attending physician at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and a member of the Saul and Joyce Brandman Breast Center, with offices in the Outpatient Cancer Center at the Samuel Oschin Comprehensive Cancer Institute. His expertise is in gastrointestinal cancer with a special focus on stomach, pancreatic, bile duct and colon cancers.

Dr. Engelberg has held faculty and hospital positions at CSMC and the University of Southern California (USC). He is board eligible by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Engelberg fulfilled a fellowship in oncology at John Wesley Hospital, which was formerly associated with the USC. He also completed graduate studies in biophysics at New York University, where he focused on gastrointestinal research. He completed his residency at Kings County, Down State Medical Center in Brooklyn and at CSMC. Dr. Engelberg received his medical degree from the University of Miami.
