The Department of Neurosurgery had the Outsmarting Brain Tumor Conference on Satruday, May 10th. Over 200 participants attended the conference, and learned about the latest research and treatment options for brain tumors.
Topics included a discussion of promising therapeutic discoveries for brain tumors, as well as information on other surgical and nonsurgical treatment options available today. Participants had the opportunity to learn the latest information on the emotional aspect of living with this disease, as well as intimacy issues.
