Prepared Childbirth Series

The Prepared Childbirth Series is available in the following formats:

• Prepared Childbirth Series (Five Part)
• Prepared Childbirth Series (Four Part)
• Prepared Childbirth Series (Three Part)
• Prepared Childbirth Series (Two Part)

Prepared Childbirth Series (Five Part)

This five-week series for mothers and their partners meets once weekly for two-and-a-half hours. Topics covered are physical and emotional changes of pregnancy, the role of the labor coach, Lamaze techniques for relaxation and breathing, variations in labor and delivery, cesarean birth and pain relief options. The 3, 4, and 5-week series also include a maternity tour. Plan to enroll in this class during the fifth month of pregnancy and to start the class during the seventh month of pregnancy. Note: Bring 2 pillows to class.

Plan to enroll in this class during the fifth month of pregnancy and to start the class during the seventh month of pregnancy.
