In the 2008 U.S. News and World Report Best Hospitals issue, Cedars-Sinai ranked among America's best in Cancer.

Today, one of the most aggressive procedures used in the battle against cancer is blood and marrow transplant. This technique seeks to replace cancerous cells with transplanted healthy blood, bone marrow or stem cells.

The Blood and Marrow Transplant Program at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center was established in 1989. The hospital's program has earned wide respect among the local oncology community for its commitment to excellence in patient care.

A comprehensive array of medical services is available through the Blood and Marrow Transplant Program, including diagnosis, screening, pre-transplant preparation and education, post-discharge care, recovery and dietary counseling.
