Vivian Salle, RN, BSN, OCN is an Oncology Certified Nurse at the Louis Warschaw Prostate Cancer Center. Prior to joining the center, she worked at the Cedars-Sinai Outpatient Cancer Center both in the infusion center and with the pain management team.
Ms. Salle has specialized in the field of oncology throughout her nursing career and has been board certified in oncology since 1997. Her areas of interest and focus are; patient education, symptom management, pain management, prostate cancer and research.
Her extensive clinical experience began at Loma Linda University Medical Center, where she served as a charge nurse on a medical / surgical oncology unit. After 12 years she relocated to Los Angeles taking a position at the University of California, Los Angeles Medical Center on the bone marrow/ stem cell transplant unit.
Ms. Salle received her associate degree in nursing in 1986 from Riverside City College and in 1993 earned a bachelor of science in nursing from California State University Dominguez Hills.
