Teen Volunteer Program - New Volunteer Information

2012-2013 Teen Volunteer Program:  The Program Has Reached Full Capacity!*

*We are no longer accepting applications for the 2012-2013 Teen Volunteer Program. Applications for the 2013-2014 volunteer session will be made available online during the month of February 2013.

Cedars-Sinai's Teen Volunteer Program will encourage teens to commit to one full year of volunteering.  Previously, teens have had to reapply each summer and academic session.  With the new program, teens will apply once a year to participate as a teen volunteer and will begin volunteering at the Medical Center in June.

The program will consist of two sessions, summer and academic, but teens will only need to apply once.  Volunteer Services will coordinate schedules with the teens for both their four-hour shift once a week during the summer and two-hour shift once a week during the academic session.  With one application and one interview, teens are set for an entire year of volunteering.  For more information, please check out our Teen Program 2012-2013 News and Updates .

Flu Vaccination 2011-2012

With the approach of the 2011-2012 flu season, we want to remind each of you to remember to receive your flu vaccination.  All teen volunteers must obtain and provide documentation of their flu vaccination to Employee Health Services no later than December 30th, 2011.  We will be communicating additional opportunities to obtain flu vaccination to teens in the upcoming weeks, via email.
