Arash Bereliani, MD

Cardiology

Arash Bereliani, MD, FACC is a cardiologist in the Division of Cardiology at the Cedars-Sinai Heart Institute. He also is an assistant professor of cardiology at the David Geffen University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Medicine.

Dr. Bereliani specializes in cardiovascular diseases, preventative cardiology, integrative cardiology and cardiac imaging. Dr. Bereliani's clinical and academic duties include teaching medical students, residents and fellows along with active research in cardiac imaging and nuclear cardiology. Dr. Bereliani is a frequent speaker at many professional and academic conferences and meetings including the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology and the Society for Nuclear Medicine. In addition, he is a frequent speaker for pharmaceutical companies, including Novartis Pharmaceutical Corp., Pfizer Inc. and the Schering-Plough Corp.

Dr. Bereliani is board certified in cardiovascular diseases, nuclear cardiology, cardiac computed tomography (cardiac CT) and internal medicine. He is an active member of the American College of Cardiology, the American Heart Association, the American Medical Association and the American Society of Nuclear Medicine.

Dr. Bereliani earned his medical degree at Finch University of Health Sciences/The Chicago Medical School where he was ranked number one in a graduating class of 192. He went on to do his post-graduate training in internal medicine and cardiovascular diseases at UCLA Medical Center.
