Caroline Gibson, MD
Caroline Gibson, MD, is a neonatologist with the Pediatrics Department at Cedars-Sinai.
Dr. Gibson earned her medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine. She completed her pediatric residency at Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital and a fellowship in neonatology at Mattel Children’s Hospital UCLA. Dr. Gibson’s research interests lie in the fields of neonatal nutrition and fetal origins of adult disease. Throughout her academic career, she has received several awards, including the Shapiro Family Scholarship, the Carmel AFMR Scholar and the Marshall Klaus Perinatal Research Award.
Dr. Gibson’s research articles have been published in peer-reviewed journals such as Diabetes Care and the Journal of Neuroscience Research. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and a member of the AAP Section on Perinatal Pediatrics, the California Association of Neonatologists and the American Federation of Medical Research.
