Dr. Amer received his undergraduate degree from University of California, Berkeley, and his medical degree from Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha. He completed his internship and residency in pediatrics at the University of California, Los Angeles School of Medicine and a pediatric intensive care fellowship at Children's Hospital Los Angeles.
