Marshall L. Grode, MD

Neurosurgery

Marshall L. Grode, MD is a neurosurgeon at the Department of Neurosurgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. He is also an Associate Clinical Professor at the David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles. His primary specialties are spinal and brain surgery.

Dr. Grode is a member of numerous professional societies including, American Association of Neurological Surgeons, American College of Surgeons, American Medical Association, and Congress of Neurological Surgeons. He is board certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery.

Dr. Grode has been published in several peer-reviewed scientific journals including, New York State Journal of Medicine, Surgical Neurology, Journal of Neurosurgery, Journal of Trauma, and Surgical Endoscopy.

Dr. Grode received his bachelor's and medical degrees from Cornell University. He completed a surgical internship at Bellvue Hospital-Cornell Division and then a year of surgical residency at Cornell-New York Hospital. Following his residency, he served two years in the United States Navy as a submarine medical officer. He then fulfilled a neurosurgical residency at Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital- New York Neurological Institute.
