Alan C. Newman, DDS
Alan Newman, DDS, is a dentist at the Headache, Orofacial Pain and Sleep Apnea Program at the Cedars-Sinai Pain Center. He practices orofacial pain and dysfunction, which includes treatments for headaches, facial pain, TMJ disorders and sleep apnea.
Dr. Newman is also a lecturer and instructor at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Dentistry, Department of Oral Medicine and Orofacial Pain. He was previously a faculty member at Loma Linda School of Dentistry, Department of Oral Medicine.
Dr. Newman earned his bachelor's degree from Rutgers College and his dental degree from UCLA. He completed a general practice residency at the West Los Angeles Veteran's Administration Hospital, where he served as Chief Resident. He also completed a residency in orofacial pain and dysfunction at UCLA, where he again served as Chief Resident.
