Ezra Maguen, MD, FACS, FICS is a researcher and ophthalmologist with the Division of Ophthalmology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and a Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at the David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles.
Dr. Maguen's primary clinical and research interests include refractive surgery, contact lenses, laser ophthalmic surgery, cataract removal, and cornea and external disease. He is a recipient of the Contact Lens Association of Ophthalmologist Honor Award and the American Medical Association Physician Recognition Award.
Board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, Dr. Maguen is a member of numerous professional societies including, American Academy of Ophthalmology, American College of Surgeons, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology.
Dr. Maguen received his medical degree from the Sackler School of Medicine at Tel Aviv University in Israel. He completed his internship and internal medicine residency at Beilinson Hospital in Israel followed by an ophthalmology residency at Case Western University, Mount Sinai Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. He fulfilled a corneal and external disease fellowship at Estelle Doheny Eye Foundation at the University of Southern California School of Medicine.
