Neel Joshi, MD

Dr. Joshi earned his undergraduate degree in economics from Princeton University, graduating summa cum laude. He earned his medical degree at the Mayo Medical School in Minnesota. Dr. Joshi completed both his residency training in general surgery and fellowship in minimally invasive surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. He has authored several peer-reviewed publications and has given national and international presentations on a variety of surgical topics. Dr. Joshi has received several awards, including the 2006 Paul Rubenstein Prize for Excellence in Resident Research, the 2007 Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons Resident Achievement Award, the 2008 CSMC Department of Surgery Teaching Award, and the 2008 Leo G. Rigler, MD Award.
Dr. Joshi’s surgical practice is focused on oncologic surgery (e.g. breast cancer, colon cancer, skin cancer), laparoscopic surgery (e.g. gallstones, gastroesophageal reflux disease), and repair of abdominal wall hernias.
