Rebecca Hedrick, MD

Rebecca Hedrick, MD is a Physician with Cedars-Sinai’s Consultation-Liaison Services in the Department of Psychiatry. Dr. Hedrick is board-certified in general psychiatry, and child and adolescent psychiatry.

After earning a Bachelor’s of Arts degree, with honors, in both Psychology and Spanish from Vanderbilt University, Dr. Hedrick went on to earn her medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine. She completed both a residency in general psychiatry and a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine. During her residency and fellowship training, Dr. Hedrick served as Chief Fellow and received the Clinical Resident of the Year Award.  During her academic career as Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of California, Irvine, Dr. Hedrick served as the Medical Director for Consultation Liaison and Emergency Psychiatry services and Associate Residency Training Director.

A well sought after speaker, Dr. Hedrick has given grand rounds presentations on a variety of subjects at numerous hospitals throughout Southern California. She has appeared on the television shows, Good Morning America and The Doctors. Her work has been published in the 37th ICAAC and the International Journal of Otorhinolaryngology.

Dr. Hedrick is a member of the Academy of Psychosomatic Medicine, American Psychiatric Association, the Association for Transpersonal Psychology and the Association for Humanistic Psychology.
