Pediatric Cardiology

Jeffrey A. Wong, MD, FACC, is a pediatric cardiologist in Pediatric Services at Cedars-Sinai. He also is Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), Medical Center.

Board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in both pediatrics and pediatric cardiology, Dr. Wong's research interests include post-operative pediatric cardiothoracic surgical outcomes and the postnatal persistence of the embryonic form of myocardium.

A fellow of the American College of Cardiology, Dr. Wong has published articles in numerous peer-reviewed journals including Circulation, Pediatric Cardiology, American Heart Journal, Annals of Thoracic Surgery, American Journal of Radiology, Archives of Family Medicine, American Journal of Medical Genetics< and Journal of the American College of Cardiology. and a chapter author in The NORD Guide to Rare Diseases. He is a peer-journal reviewer for Catheterization and Cardiovascular Interventions. 

Dr. Wong earned his bachelor's degree from the University of California, Davis, and his medical degree from the University of California, Davis, School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency at Children's Hospital Oakland and a fellowship in pediatric cardiology at Children's Hospital Medical Center of Cincinnati. He is a two-time winner of the Golden Apple Teaching Award at Cedars-Sinai.
