Lillian Szydlo, MD


Lillian Szydlo, MD, is a board-certified internist and rheumatologist with Cedars-Sinai Medical Group and Cedars-Sinai Health Asssociates.

Dr. Szydlo obtained her medical degree from the New York University School of Medicine. She earned her bachelor's degree (magna cum laude) at City University of New York, Brooklyn College, graduating Phi Beta Kappa. Dr. Szydlo performed her internship and internal medicine residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Her fellowship in rheumatology was performed at the University of California, Los Angeles, School of Medicine.

Dr. Szydlo joined the Cedars-Sinai Medical Group in 1985. She also worked as an attending physician at the Arthritis Clinic at the Veterans Administration Wadsworth Hospital in Los Angeles (1983-1989) and was also an attending physician at the UCLA Scleroderma Clinic (1984-1987).

Dr. Szydlo has been a clinical assistant professor of medicine at the UCLA School of Medicine since 1985. She served on the board of directors of the Universal Scleroderma Foundation and received its Rita Miller Memorial Award. She is an honorary fellow of the Carl M. Pearson Clinical Fellowship, Arthritis Foundation.

Dr. Szydlo is a fellow of the American College of Rheumatology (formerly called the American Rheumatism Association). In addition to English, she speaks Yiddish and Spanish.
