Otolaryngologist - Head and Neck Surgery
Mani H. Zadeh, MD is a board-certified otolaryngologist-head and neck surgeon at the Thyroid Cancer Center and Sinus Center at Cedars-Sinai. He is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, American Thyroid Association, American Rhinologic Society, and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Zadeh specializes in the treatment of diseases of the head and neck region. He has extensive surgical experience in treatment of sinus disease, thyroid, parathyroid and head and neck tumors, including complex and advanced disease. He has expertise in minimally invasive surgical approaches and uses the newest and most advanced ground breaking medical and surgical techniques. Dr. Zadeh puts a special emphasis on treatment options that take into account long term results. Dr. Zadeh focuses on cutting-edge techniques and treatment options that offer his patients the greatest results while minimizing risk.
Dr. Zadeh has been involved in multiple research projects exploring subjects such as head and neck oncology, sinus disease, and hearing loss. Dr. Zadeh is the author of numerous articles in peer reviewed journals and has presented his work at many national meetings. He is frequently invited to lecture on recent advances in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and regularly attends national conferences to remain updated on the most advanced and innovative treatments of head and neck disorders. Dr. Zadeh has won numerous awards for his teaching, research and patient care.
After attending high school in London, Dr. Zadeh earned his Bachelor's degree at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where he graduated with honors, and his medical degree from University of California, San Diego. He then completed his general surgery internship followed by residency in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery at the prestigious Columbia University in New York. As chief resident, he received additional oncologic surgery training at the world renowned Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center where he developed extensive expertise in head and neck cancer surgery, thyroid and parathyroid surgery, in addition to salivary gland surgery.
