Richard Sukov, MD, FACR, is Chief of Gastrointestinal Radiology at the S. Mark Taper Foundation Imaging Center. Board certified in diagnostic radiology, Dr. Sukov has extensive experience in computed tomography (CT), ultrasound, mammography and gastrointestinal radiology. He is the imaging representative to the Cedars-Sinai esophageal and colorectal programs, and since joining Cedars-Sinai, he has co-founded the Small Bowel Multidisciplinary Conference.
Dr. Sukov has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed publications and has been a regular speaker on gastrointestinal topics. He is involved in many professional societies, both locally and at a national level. Dr. Sukov is a former president of the Los Angeles Radiologic Society and is a fellow of the American College of Radiology. He has served as an alternate counselor to the American College of Radiology.
Dr. Sukov graduated from University of Minnesota School of Medicine, where he completed an internship in pediatrics. He completed a residency in diagnostic radiology and fellowship in ultrasound and CT at the University of California, Los Angeles.
