Robert Gross, MD

Robert A. Gross, MD, is a board-certified gastroenterologist and internist with the Cedars-Sinai Medical Group and Cedars-Sinai Health Associates.

An undergraduate of Yale University, Dr. Gross received his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. Dr. Gross completed his residency training in internal medicine at Harbor General Hospital, followed by a fellowship in gastroenterology at UCLA/Wadsworth VA Hospital.

Dr. Gross served as a captain in the US Air Force for two years at Vandenberg Air Force Base Hospital. Upon completing his military service, Dr. Gross entered private medical practice in Los Angeles and was a well-established gastroenterologist and internist prior to joining Cedars-Sinai Medical Group in 2014. Since 1985, Dr. Gross has served as an assistant clinical professor at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He is a past chief of staff, vice chief of staff, and a former member of the Board of Trustees of Brotman Medical Center (Southern California Hospital at Culver City). He has also served as a vice president with the Los Angeles County Medical Association.

He is a member of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the American College of Gastroenterology, and the Southern California Society of Gastroenterology.
