Ryoko Tanabe, NP, MSN, RN
Ryoko Tanabe, NP, MSN, RN, is a nurse practitioner for the Inpatient Supportive Care Service Program at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
Ms. Tanabe has extensive experience at Cedars-Sinai in a variety of nursing capacities, most recently as a nurse practitioner proceduralist in the Procedure Center. She also served as a clinical nurse in the Medical Care Intensive Care Unit, the Pituitary Center, and Executive Medical Services.
She earned her associates of arts in nursing degree and completed the registered nursing program at Los Angeles Valley College. She later earned a bachelor of science in nursing and subsequently a master’s of science in nursing, both at the University of California, Los Angeles.
Ms. Tanabe published in the official journal of the Academy of Medical-Surgical Nurses and presented at the Association for Vascular Access’s annual scientific meeting. She is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and the California Association of Nurse Practitioners.
