Women's Health Nurse Practitioner
Talya Waldman, WHNP-BC, NCMP is a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner at the Barbra Streisand Women’s Heart Center's Women's Hormone and Menopause Program at Cedars-Sinai's Heart Institute. The clinic provides comprehensive menopause symptom management and contraceptive counseling for women with, or at risk for, chronic disease including heart disease.
Ms. Waldman is a nationally board certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner and a North American Menopause Society Certified Menopause Practitioner.
She is a published author in peer-reviewed journals. She is an active member of the North American Menopause Society, the California Association of Nurse Practitioners and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Ms. Waldman earned her master’s degree in adult primary care and post-master’s degree in women’s health from the University of Pennsylvania. She graduated with honors as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner and received the Marion O. Ware Award for Excellence in Scholarly Nursing Writing, American Association of Critical Care Nurses Scholarship and was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honors Society.
