Theodore Stein, MD
Theodore Stein, MD is a board-certified internist and gastroenterologist with the Cedars-Sinai Medical Group.
Dr. Stein has been with the Cedars-Sinai Medical Group since 1989 and currently serves as the president of its Board of Directors. He is also Director of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. He has served a clinical chief for the Division of Gastroenterology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, an associate clinical professor for the Department of Medicine at UCLA School of Medicine and an associate director of the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Center at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Stein has also served as a member of the Technology and Assessment Committee for the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, a national field medical advisor for the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation, president of the Los Angeles Chapter of the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation and a director of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy at Midway Hospital Medical Center.
Dr. Stein received his bachelor's degree from Pomona College in California and his master's degree in nutrition from the University of California at Davis. He earned his medical degree from Albany Medical College. He completed his internship and internal medicine residency at the Veterans Administration Wadsworth Medical Center in Los Angeles. His fellowship in gastroenterology was at UCLA Medical Center.
