Community Clinics

The residents at Cedars-Sinai receive clinical training that’s second to none, and part of their training includes volunteering at free clinics around Los Angeles. These experiences lead many to continue to serve vulnerable populations long after completing their residency and starting their own practice.

During 2012 alone, our residents logged more than 8,200 patient visits at a variety of sites, including the Mission Clinic, which serves the homeless on downtown’s Skid Row, The Saban Community Clinic, Clinica Oscar Romero and the Venice Family Clinic.

Please see page 16 from our annual report, In the Community, to read more about how our residents are expanding clinic capabilities and providing a vital safety net for Los Angeles’ homeless and other underserved populations.
