Plastic and reconstructive surgical and nonsurgical procedures vary widely. Patient needs range from birth defects to facial rejuvenation, accidents to rhinoplasty, scar revision to body contouring – and all require a unique skill set and experience. This demand for aesthetic procedures and reconstruction give rise to numerous new technologies and techniques; however, keeping pace with such advances can be challenging. This year’s program will feature content about two hot topic areas - facial transplants and sexual reassignment surgery. Expert guest faculty will present clinical insights and share their professional experience in these uniquely complex and challenging areas of plastic surgery.
Who Should Attend
This course is designed to meet the educational needs of plastic surgeons, facial plastic surgeons, oculoplastic surgeons and dermatologists involved in the care of patients with aesthetic and reconstructive needs.
