To be considered for an interview, all applicants must have on file at least two letters of recommendation AND a letter from the residency program director verifying satisfactory performance in your current or former residency program. So, a minimum of three letters are required, but you can submit up to four via ERAS. Additional letters of recommendation have occasionally been sent directly to our office by the person writing the recommendation.
To apply for 2015, you must submit the following to ERAS:
- Medical School Performance Evaluation (MSPE)
- Letters of Recommendation (one from most recent residency program director, and at least two additional letters)
- USMLE Transcript
- ECFMG Status Report (if applicable)
- Personal Statement
