Medical Coordinator, Middle East Affairs

Labeeb Haj Ghubn, MS is a member of the Center for International Health & Telemedicine at Cedars-Sinai.  He has expertise in providing medical care to patients from the Middle East and serves as the Center’s Middle East Medical Coordinator.  

Dr. Haj Ghubn coordinates the clinical care of patients arriving from the Middle East, including oversight of their initial appointments, Arabic translation and distribution of all pertinent medical records.  He develops relationships with the medical communities in the Middle East in order to increase their awareness of Cedars-Sinai’s centers and facilitate referrals for patients who are seeking care in the United States.

Dr. Haj Ghubn earned his medical degree from the Grigore Popa University of Medicine in Romania and completed his medical training in Jordan.  After appointments in medicine, pediatrics and emergency medicine, Dr. HajGhubn came to the United States where he earned his master’s  degree in Health Services Management.  Prior to joining the Center for International Health, he was active in clinical research.
