Summary: This study is being done to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of the Kiva VCF Treatment system in comparison to balloon kyphoplasty  for the treatment of vertebral compression fractures caused by osteoporosis of the back or spine. This study is intended to see if these two treatments are equally safe and effective at treating this condition.
